Howie
Howie was born in April 2004. He came into our home in July 2004. We needed a playmate for our other boston terrier Rudy. Since the first day we brought Howie home he has been a loving companion to us, and a great friend to Rudy and our sweet Chihuahua Izzy. Howie is a very unique dog. His tongue only works out of the left side of his mouth. He also has a long tail for a boston terrier, but it still has the hook in it. He loves scaring the birds and squirrels away in the backyard. He tries to do the same with the deer and cows, but they’ve figured out he’s behind the fence. Howie gives it all his heart anyway.
Howie, along with our other 2 dogs, have won the jackpot when it comes to their healthcare. Dr. Daigle and the staff at Premier Animal Hospital are, in our opinion, definitely the best. Howie’s toughest time was this past February when he was attacked by 2 big dogs. Dr. Whitehill and the staff stayed late that evening cleaning, suturing and stapling Howie’s wounds. He made a full recovery. Yeah! Normally Howie only has allergies to deal with, unlike our other 2 dogs who have more complicated needs. We have to visit the office frequently, and each time all of the staff is nice and helpful. We cannot express how much that kindness means to a pet parent, whether just visiting for a check-up or worrying over a sick pet.
Our whole family is honored that Howie is the pet of the month! Here’s a great big “Thank you” to the staff at Premier Animal Hospital for all that you guys do. It is definitely noticed and always appreciated!
Jeff and Tracie B.
