Taz

Let’s see…a little history on Taz:

We were looking for a friend for Brat, our 17 year old cat when Taz and his sister Mischief chose us as furparents. Our adventure started with trying to find an airline to get them from Arizona to Texas. It only took a few hours to become settled in in our new home and family.

3 months after his 2nd birthday Taz had developed labored breathing..so off we were to see our friends at Premier Animal hospital to have a check up…after several tests we discovered fluid in the chest cavity. We drained off the fluid and took home some medicine to see how we did. After 3 weeks on the medicine we went back in to have a check up..the fluid was completely gone!

After another 2 weeks, his tummy became bloated; the fluid was back, except now it is in his abdomen. He has been diagnosed with FIP.

Dr. Whitehill and the staff at Premier have gone above and beyond in keeping our little man as comfortable as possible as he lives out whatever time remains with us. We are very blessed for everyday that we have left with Taz.
