Waffle

Waffle was 4 months old when I met him outside a Waffle House in Pensacola Florida. I mentioned I was headed to Texas and since I had a cheeseburger with me, Waffle decided to ride along too. His being food motivated has helped us tremendously in training him on the rules around the house, on walks, doing tricks, and general behavior tips. He is now almost 2 1/2 and has been an amazing joy in my life and my wife’s too. His sister Daisy (our 7 1/2 year old beagle) was not too fond of Waffle to begin with, but she has warmed up over time and now the two sometimes sleep side by side on the couch. Waffle keeps us very active by walking my wife at least once or twice daily and by going on adventures with me on the weekends to the local dog parks. Waffle enjoys bike rides and walks but his favorite activity by far is swimming; favorite dog park is “Redbud Isle” dog park since it has so many different areas to swim and it is off leash.

Doctor Daigle has been amazing so many times with Waffle as Waffle’s adventurous nature and active lifestyle has gotten him into trouble many times; often forcing me to call the afterhours. The staff at Premier is helpful and accommodating, from the friendly “Hello’s” as you come in, to the free doggie treats sprinkled around the waiting room. Doctor Daigle’s love for animals and kindness towards people show through in his professionalism and patience with his patients!
