Poe’s family is so pleased that you have selected him to be pet of the month!

“The truth is that Poe is so much more than a pet to our family… He is our little angel!”

Poe was adopted from the Humane Society of El Paso, Texas on December 23, 1998, when he was three years old. Poe has been a constant companion, soulmate, and muse for over 11 years. Poe inspired a Humane Education character and story for children, as well as attending humane society fundraisers to benefit homeless animals.

Our family met Dr. Daigle when Poe became ill from the 2007 pet food recall. Dr. Daigle and his amazing staff not only saved Poe’s life, but were so proactive and progressive in his treatment, that he extended Poe’s life by over three years.

In October of 2009, Poe was diagnosed with cancer and after a hard fought battle, Poe is now in what would
be considered hospice care at home under Dr. Daigle’s caring supervision.

Words cannot express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Daigle and all the doctors and staff at Premier Animal
Hospital for their spectacular care, compassion and treatment of Poe and our entire family during these very
difficult years.
